Hi, I'm Heenah Pokun (rhymes with 'spoken'). Ever since I can remember I've been making stuff.
Originally from the UK, I studied and practiced architecture in London and then in Amsterdam before realising that I prefer to make things I can finish in my own hands. Since then, I've gone on to get an MA Illustration degree and start my own illustration and design practice in 2022.
I love creating visuals for local brands that value a touch of whimsy and nostalgia.
Creativity is at the heart of what I do. From my own picture books to logos, wedding invitations, branding design and graphic props - I tinker and bring all of these influences back into my work. Other things I'm inspired by include classic fiction, hand crafts, history, fantasy festivals and thrift stores.
